What does the purple flower reaction mean on Facebook – and why we can’t get it in the UK?

I don’t know if you have noticed a little flower emoji when hovering over the reactions on Facebook.

Check it out:

Facebook has introduced it as a ‘Thank You’ reaction because Mothers Day is coming up. However, it was Mothers Day in the US last Sunday (14th May) which would explain why us UK Facebookers have not been able to use it.

We can still see it though!

It’s not clear as to how long it will stay for or if it will come to other countries but I think it will be something for more to come from Facebook in the future!
